Low-end leftovers Thursday...then the waiting game
Summary
A cold storm will just clip New Mexico from the north overnight Wednesday through Thursday and drop 1 to 5 inches favoring the northern mountains. Friday will be dry and cold in high teens, low 20's. Saturday and Sunday will be dry and a bit warmer in high 20's and 30's. On Monday and Tuesday, another fast-moving cold storm misses New Mexico to the north but could clip with a trace of snow. All eyes are on a potential sustained storm cycle setting up for the west and central Rockies starting sometime between January 9th or 11th. Too soon to know potential impacts for New Mexico, but the hopeful news is that we will have multiple storms in our vicinity in mid-January.
