Two low-end hits: Mon PM & Tues, frigid cold Tues-Weds

Summary

Sunday is the last mild day before an extended period of cold. Monday will be cooler and mostly dry. A bitter cold front will arrive Monday late afternoon/evening and trigger the first wave of snow in the 1 to 4-inch range along with teen and single-digit temps. A second wave of snow will drop another 1 to 4 inches through the day Tuesday. First chairs Tuesday and Wednesday will offer soft conditions and maybe low-end powder with frigid cold temps. Look for combined storm totals of 2 to 8 inches, with an uptick surprise or two possible. Wednesday through Sunday look mostly dry with gradual warming up into the 20's and low 30's. Still on track for the next storm between February 10 and 12.
