Tracking two southern storms early January

Summary

December 28th through New Year's Day will be dry and cool. Most days should see plenty of sunshine and light to moderate winds. We are watching two storms in the first week of January. The first storm around January 2nd-3rd looks like it will be a weak system and track near the U.S.-Mexico border. The second storm around January 5th could be stronger but may also track south into Mexico.
