Friday powder, but a high wind caveat
Summary
Thursday storm totals are 5" to 17". Friday will offer fresh powder, leftover stashes, and soft conditions, but on wind-effected snow. Wind gusts of 40-60 mph will be an issue on Friday and Saturday in the northern high country. The Taos Avalanche Center forecast should be consulted for any back or side-country as an avalanche warning is in effect. The next storm is Sunday-Monday.
