More Winter Sunshine Down South, Rain for Ruapehu

Summary

The long stretch of fine weather will continue for the South Island through to the end of the week. The only exception will be a little rain at either end of the day on Friday, plus a few light snow showers early Saturday at Treble Cone. Mt Ruapehu, meanwhile, will cop a swag of rain as a series of storms roll over the North Island, with only a little snow falling up high initially.
