Welcome to OpenSnow Northwest: 2018-19

Summary

It’s almost fall and time to think about the snow falling. We can have early winters here in the NW. The storms are getting stronger in the Gulf of Alaska and will be getting more frequent. We’ll have some early fall storms, for sure – but the frequency and magnitude usually does start building until mid to late October. No indication of any sustained dry pattern setting up – it’s the warmth that may hurt us.
