Northwest Daily Snow

Power days, then arctic blast
Summary
An active, cold low off the BC coast, west of Haida Gwaii, will produce increasing heavy snow for the Cascades of WA and OR on Friday. Snow levels will be low (1000 - 2500ft) creating high quality and abundant snowfall. Driving will be difficult in the snow – just slow down and be alert for icy spots. While skiing during the stormy conditions, be aware, there may be ski lift and run closures due to wind, snowfall, and unstable snow. Ski with a partner for safety. Please respect closures and roped areas - they are for your safety. New snowfall and low snow levels will continue over the weekend but will ease a bit. Snow quality will be excellent considering the cold air. It will turn very cold next week with single digits and below zero possible with little or no snowfall. Bundle up to the max.
