Shot of snow early Friday?

Summary

Expect more off and on showers of rain and snow mix, lower slopes. There are a couple of new inches of snow this morning. The snow level will be between 3000 and 4500ft the next two days. There will be snow on the upper slopes, but a rain snow mix below. A more robust weather system comes in Thursday night, then the snow level drops on Friday to 3000ft. There will be new snow on Friday morning (4-8”), with respectable potential.

Short Term Forecast

Today will see occasional snow showers with several inches of snow possible on the upper slopes and a rain snow mix down low. Thursday evening a new system comes in with increasing snow, as a result expect new snow on Friday.

Extended Forecast

There will be more clouds and a chance of snow showers over the weekend. Later Saturday and early Sunday there is a better chance of clearing at times, but this entire pattern is very uncertain as far as timing of snow showers and clearing periods. More unsettled weather can be expected next week.
