Sunshine in the mountains
Summary
A massive ridge of high pressure will control the weather in the NW for the next week to ten days. The ridge will block storms and cause generally sunny skies. An inversion of warm air aloft, with cooler cloudy air in the lowlands will develop later in the week, as freezing levels soar above 10,000ft.
