Rain on Top of Heavy Snow = Flooding & Avalanches

Summary

Snow totals in the Cascades from Thursday through Sunday morning are 16-30 inches, which made it an awesome opening day for Mt. Bachelor. Warm air has changed snow to rain on Sunday, except for in northeastern Oregon. Heavy rain will fall from Sunday through Wednesday (4-6+ inches), which will cause flooding and the potential for avalanches.
