Dry spell continues due to blocking pattern

Summary

Scandinavia is experiencing a persistent high-pressure ridge due to a blocking pattern formed over Scandinavia. The weather will be mostly settled and dry throughout the week. A diurnal cycle takes place, meaning daytime temperatures can be near or above zero and nighttime temperatures cool resulting in a refreeze overnight. Skiing conditions should be great although new snow is not expected much.
