Update

Monday Morning Report

We did receive snow on Sunday, about 2 inches at mid-mountain, and the unfavorable wind direction from the southwest kept snow amounts on the low side.

Storm #2 during the middle of next week

Monday will bring a mix of dry weather and a few snow showers with minimal accumulation.

On Monday night into Tuesday, a piece of storm energy will move across Colorado and this could coax the atmosphere into producing a bit more snow, maybe a few inches if we’re lucky.

Then the next strong storm should bring snow from Tuesday night through Thursday afternoon. Because this storm might move through in pieces or in a disjointed fashion, I am going to keep my powder expectations on the lower side. That said, some models are forecasting snow amounts of 6-12 inches, so there is a possibility for powder on Wednesday and/or Thursday.

Future Storms

Odds are pretty good that we’ll see snow return around Sunday, February 10th, and that an active pattern will continue through mid-February. There should be more powder days over the next two weeks!

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
