Steamboat Daily Snow

More chances for light snow this week at Steamboat
Summary
We will see snow showers later on Tuesday and Tuesday night and again Thursday through Saturday morning. Accumulations will be scattered and will probably be light.
Short Term Forecast
On Monday, we saw every type of weather with some sunshine, some clouds, and some flurries with just a bit of accumulation during the evening and at night.
On Tuesday, we should see dry weather to start the day, and then we’ll have a chance for snow showers from Tuesday midday through Tuesday night. A wind from the east is not favorable for significant snow and means that we will likely see just light or no snow accumulation (and maybe strong and gusty wind speeds on Tuesday night).
On Wednesday, we should see dry weather with just a low chance for a shower.
Then from Thursday morning through Saturday morning, the third storm of the week will track south of Colorado, like the previous storms this week, and this unfavorable track should once again limit our snow accumulation. That said, we could still see at least a couple of inches of snow, and the best chance to find softer turns could be on Friday morning and again on Saturday morning.
Extended Forecast
Saturday and Sunday should be dry and warmer with Saturday high temperatures in the 30s and Sunday high temperatures climbing into the 40s.
Then sometime between Monday, March 29, and Wednesday, March 31, we will likely see snow thanks to a storm that will track to our north. It is still too soon to know if this storm will bring just a little bit of snow or if we will get lucky and see a chance for 6+ inches of snowfall.
