Steamboat Daily Snow

Calm Saturday, then looking ahead to snow
Summary
We'll see a chance for snow from Saturday night through Monday with another storm from Monday night through Wednesday.
Update
Saturday will be a gorgeous day with sunny skies and highs in the upper 30s.
Then we'll look ahead to two storms this week.
The first storm will be from Saturday night through Monday. This storm has a lot of moisture but ill-defined energy and I have very low confidence about if and when it could snow. I am keeping my expectations very low, especially for Steamboat which could be on the northern edge of the storm. Maybe we'll eke out a bit of snow now and again, but I cannot point to either Sunday or Monday as days that will likely bring significant snowfall.
The second storm will be from Monday night through Wednesday. This storm will have strong energy and we should see intense snow from Monday night through Tuesday with more than 6 inches possible. However, the winds will be very strong and this could close some lifts to not open, especially on Tuesday. I think Tuesday could be a stormy and tough day to ride, though there should be fresh snow. Wednesday might be the better day with stashes of powder and slower winds.
Looking farther ahead, we should end the week with dry and sunny weather on Thursday, April 7, and Friday, April 8.
