Snow on Wednesday night
Summary
Wednesday will be mostly dry, then snow will fall from Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Update
Tuesday morning was fun thanks to the 10 inches of snow that fell from Monday through Monday night.
Then Tuesday night was dry as the brunt of the snowfall shifted to Colorado's southern mountains.
Wednesday will also be mostly dry as the snow stays over Colorado's southern mountains.
Then on Wednesday night through Thursday mid-morning, the storm will track from west to east through Colorado and should drop 4-8 inches of snow with a chance for somewhat a higher total thanks to a favorable wind from the west during the latter part of the storm. The timing of this snow means that there will be powder (or at least very soft conditions) from Thursday morning through Thursday midday.
Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon will be dry.
From Friday afternoon through Saturday morning, a weak storm will cross the northern mountains (where we are located) and we could sneak out 2-4 inches of snow, which could create semi-soft conditions on Saturday morning.
After that, most of Saturday and Sunday will be dry, then a strong storm should bring snow from Monday through Tuesday, December 12-13, with powder possible on one or both of those days.
