Sunny through Saturday, then snow on Sunday
Summary
Friday and Saturday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the 20s. Then we will see snow for multiple days.
Update
Thursday was sunny yet cold with a high temperature in the single digits.
Now on Friday, we'll see another sunny day and temperatures will be warmer with a high in the 20s (and morning temperatures at the base will be colder than readings at the summit).
On Saturday, it'll be another dry day with a high temperature in the low 20s and there will be mid-and-high-level clouds filtering the sunshine.
Then starting on Sunday, we could see snow for many days in a row, though I still only have moderate confidence in the details of the forecast.
On Sunday, snow should fall with 4-8 inches of accumulation thanks to storm energy tracking over the northern mountains of Colorado and a favorable wind direction from the west.
On Monday, we should see drier weather as we will be in between storms.
From Monday evening through Tuesday, additional snow is likely and amounts could be 6-12+ inches with powder possible on Tuesday morning. During the day on Tuesday, the wind direction may slowly shift to blow from an unfavorable west-southwest and southwest direction and this would begin to decrease snowfall rates during the day.
Then on Wednesday and Thursday, a strong storm will move across Colorado, though the wind direction might be from the southwest, which would be unfavorable for a lot of snow and may lead to just lower to moderate snow totals.
That is about the best I can do for now, and we should be able to have more confidence in the details of the forecast in the next day or two.
