On Sunday, we were watching a narrow band of snow over northern Colorado, and we eked out 2 inches at mid-mountain and 4 inches at the summit from these snow showers. Most other mountains in Colorado saw no accumulating snow, so we were lucky to get what we got.

Monday, March 6 - Wednesday, March 8: The first three days of this week will be dry as the main storm track shifts to our north and west. Skies will be partly cloudy each day and the high temperature should be in the mid-20s.

Thursday, March 9: From Wednesday night through Thursday, a fast-moving storm will track to our north and should deliver 2-6 inches of snow with potential low-end powder during the day on Thursday. The temperature on Thursday will be cooler with a high in the teens.

Friday, March 10 - Sunday, March 12: A stronger storm with a lot of moisture and warmer temperatures will bring snow from later Friday through some point on Sunday. A lot of moisture can lead to a lot of snow, however, the important caveat with this storm is that temperatures will be warm and we might see rain near the base area on Friday into Saturday before cooler air arrives from later Saturday into Sunday. For snowfall, I am keeping my eye on both Saturday and Sunday for potential powder.

Next week: We will likely see dry weather from Monday, March 13 to Wednesday, March 15, and then another storm with a lot of moisture and warmer temperatures should hit Colorado around Thursday, March 16 to Friday, March 17.
