Monday was dry and warm.

On Monday night, the first part of the storm moved across Colorado and we managed to pick up 2 inches at mid-mountain and at the summit.

On Tuesday, Tuesday night, Wednesday, and Wednesday night, we will see snow showers with additional accumulation, though I have low confidence in the snow totals. Another piece of the storm's energy should move across Colorado on Tuesday and Tuesday night, which could deliver up to 3-6 inches of snow, and then snow showers could add to this total on Wednesday and Wednesday evening. The best case is that we wind up with soft snow later on Tuesday and on Wednesday, and the worse case is that we have 'dust on crust' with just a little bit of new snow on top of a firm base. Temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday will be chilly and rise only into the teens.

Thursday, April 6 through Thursday, April 13 will be mainly dry, mostly sunny, and warm. There could be a quick shower on Saturday, April 8, and otherwise, this seven-day stretch will bring warm spring conditions. High temperatures on Thursday will be in the 20s, on Friday and Saturday temperatures will rise into the 30s, and from Sunday through next Thursday, temperatures will rise into the 40s.

Our next chance for snow will be sometime between Friday, April 14 to Sunday, April 16. The latest longer-range forecast models show most of the storminess during this time anchored over the west coast, but it is possible that we will see some snow and cooler temperatures here in Colorado.
