Dry through Thursday, then snow this weekend

Summary

Monday through Thursday will be dry, with Tuesday and Wednesday being the sunnier days. Then a storm should bring snow to Colorado over the weekend, and we will have a chance for powder on Saturday and Sunday.

Update

Sunday

On Sunday, we saw morning clouds, then the clouds dissipated, and the high temperature reached the 30s.

Monday

On Monday morning, we are again seeing clouds, and I am hopeful that these too will dissipate at some point during the day, though they may be more persistent than the clouds on Sunday. The high temperature should again be in the 30s.

Tuesday & Wednesday

We will see sunshine and warmer temperatures with highs in the mid-to-upper 30s. Due to the warmth during the day, and colder temperatures at night, there could be a melt/freeze crust on some slopes with crunchy conditions in the morning.

Thursday

The dry weather will continue on Thursday, though clouds ahead of our next storm will begin to filter the sunshine during the afternoon. The high temperature should be in the mid-30s.

Friday, February 2 to Sunday, February 4

The next storm will arrive in Colorado with snow likely from Friday through Sunday.

I think Friday will be mostly dry as we await for the storm to make it farther into Colorado, and then we'll have a high chance of snow from Friday night through Sunday. For snowfall, the track of the storm is not ideal, yet the high amount of moisture can lead to a lot of snow, and it'll be a few more days until we can figure out how the system will evolve. For now, I'd pencil in Saturday and Sunday as days with the potential for at least some powder.
