Snow showers, then a dry weekend, and then snow next week

Summary

We'll see snow showers on Friday and Friday night, then expect dry weather on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. After that, next Tuesday will bring snow showers, with a storm likely on Wednesday and Thursday.

Update

Thursday

The first half of Thursday was dry and partly sunny, and then from Thursday afternoon through Thursday night, snow showers developed and dropped 1 inch of accumulation at mid-mountain and 2 inches at the summit.

Friday

Friday morning will start with the fresh snow from Thursday night and mostly cloudy skies.

During the day on Friday, I think that we'll see drier weather during the first half of the day, and then a higher chance for snow showers during the afternoon and evening. Like Thursday night, we may see light snow accumulations of a dusting to perhaps an inch or two during the second half of the day and into the evening. The high temperature will be in the low 20s.

Saturday & Sunday

Both Saturday and Sunday will be dry and mostly sunny. The high temperature on Saturday should be around 30°F and the high temperature on Sunday will be a little warmer, in the low 30s.

Next Week

Monday, March 11 should be dry with increasing clouds, Tuesday, March 12 should bring some snow showers, and then from Tuesday night through Thursday, a storm will likely bring moderate snow totals with the potential for powder. After the storm, we'll see dry weather from about Friday, March 15 to about Friday, March 22, and then snow should return to Colorado sometime during the final ten days of March.

My next update will be Saturday morning.
