Storm Totals

From Saturday night through Sunday night, Steamboat picked up 12 inches at mid-mountain and 24 inches at the summit. The latter part of the storm dropped 4-8 inches during the day on Sunday. Yay for deep, fluffy snow!

Monday

While the weekend storm is long gone, moisture is lingering and snow showers are still coming down on Monday morning. The mountain could pick up another 2-4 inches during the day, and with chilly temperatures in the teens, snow conditions will stay fun and soft.

Tuesday

A storm will pass by on Monday night and Tuesday, but most/all of the snow should stay east and south of the mountain. Winds could be gusty on Tuesday midday and afternoon, and the high temperature will stay in the teens.

Wednesday

Wednesday will be dry and mostly sunny with a high temperature in the teens.

Thursday

Thursday may bring light snow, but the storm will only brush by Colorado and I expect little accumulation. The temperature will be in the teens.

Friday

Friday should be dry and partly sunny with a high temperature in the teens.

This Weekend

During the weekend of January 11-12, the next storm should bring snow with moderate accumulations (3-8 inches?) and potentially some powder on Saturday and/or Sunday.

Longer Range

Early next week, from about January 13-16, Colorado will be on the edge of the storm track and the weather should be dry. Then around or after January 17, the weather pattern could become stormier with more snow.
