Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

The snow report shows quite varied numbers across the mountains, with 6 inches at mid mountain and 11 inches at the summit between Wednesday morning and Thursday morning. While the majority of this snow fell and was skied during the day on Wednesday, the summit snow stake camera shows that about 4-5 inches of new snow has fallen since lifts closed on Wednesday afternoon, so I do think you’ll find fresh turns now on Thursday morning. Also, I think we’ll see another 3-6 inches of snow during the day on Thursday before this storm finally moves away on Thursday night.

After this third consecutive week of multiple powder days, we’ll take a break from the snow with sunny weather returning from Friday through Monday. Then, right on schedule, another storm should hit Steamboat during the middle of next week with snow likely on Tuesday and Wednesday.
