Steamboat Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 9 years ago April 1, 2016
We saw another 1-3 inches of snow accumulate during Thursday morning, and this marks the third consecutive week with multiple powder days. That’s a great March in my book, and unofficially, my statistics show that March’s strong snowfall now puts the snowpack at Steamboat at about 10% above average as of the last day of March. This is great news as the base is in good shape and conditions are still quite fun!
Looking ahead, we should see dry and partly-to-mostly sunny weather from Friday through Monday, though there may be just a few clouds and flurries around on Friday and Monday. Then our next chance for snow will be during the middle of next week with 4-8 inches possible between Monday afternoon and Wednesday evening. Stay tuned for daily updates and have a great Friday!
