Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Update

We were able to coax the atmosphere into dropping about 2 inches of snow on the upper half of the mountain on Tuesday, but as I talked about, the storm track to the south of Colorado is not ideal for Steamboat, so snow amounts stayed on the lower side.

Wednesday and Thursday will be dry and sunny, then the next storm will bring snow to Colorado from Thursday night through Saturday night. Once again, this storm will track to the south of Colorado, so I think snow amounts at Steamboat will be light with just a few inches possible on the upper mountain and perhaps a few rain drops at the base.

Looking ahead to next week, a colder storm should track directly over Colorado, so we could finally see deeper and fluffier snow on Tuesday into Wednesday. Stay tuned!
