Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Update

The weather on Saturday will be partly-to-mostly sunny with comfortable temperatures heading into the upper 30s by early afternoon. Lather on the sunscreen and enjoy the 150 trails which are currently open at Steamboat (this is the most number of trails open in Colorado).

Then a weak storm to the north of Colorado should bring a few flakes between Saturday sunset and Sunday sunrise. My forecast is for 1-2 inches, so not a big storm, but hopefully a nice little refresh.

Following this system, the weather on Sunday and Monday will be cooler with highs in the 20s, and dry weather will return through about Friday, January 5th.

Starting on Saturday, January 6th, more active weather should hit the western US and there will be chances for snow through the second week of January, though details on the timing and amount of any snow are still elusive.

Thanks for reading and expect my next update on Sunday morning.
