Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Update

On Saturday night, we saw a few flakes, but the slightly more consistent snow stayed about 30-50 miles to our northeast, so the official snow report shows zero snowfall on Sunday morning. Sometimes we get lucky (like the snow on Christmas Day), and sometimes the storms track a little too far away.

On Sunday, in the wake of the weak system on Saturday night, expect temperatures to be 10 degrees cooler compared to Saturday with highs in the 20s. Then we’ll see highs in the upper 20s to low 30s for the rest of the week with partly-to-mostly sunny skies.

Our next chances for snow will be between Saturday night and Monday morning (January 6-8) and again with a storm sometime around Thursday, January 11th.

Thanks for reading and Happy New Year!
