Steamboat Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 7 years ago January 1, 2018
Update
Clear skies overnight often lead to a temperature inversion at Steamboat, which is when readings at the base are much colder than on the mountain. This is the case on Monday morning, so know that when you head out, it’ll be at least 10-15 degrees warmer at mid-mountain compared to the base.
The forecast for this week is for lots of sunshine and comfortable temperatures. Highs will be in the upper 20s to low 30s on Monday and Tuesday, then will rise into the 30s on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Our next chances for snow will be between Saturday night and Monday morning (January 6-8) and again with a storm sometime around Thursday, January 11th.
Thanks for reading and Happy New Year!
