Steamboat Daily Snow

Update
On Wednesday morning, you’ll find lots of sunshine, a base temperature of about -5F, and much warmer readings on the mountain where the temperature is about 20F. By midday, temperatures from base-to-summit should warm nicely into the mid-20s to low-30s. These conditions will be repeated on Thursday and Friday, with perhaps a few more clouds filtering the sunshine on those days.
On Saturday, expect an increase in clouds during the afternoon, with snow beginning in the afternoon and continuing through Saturday night. The most intense snow should fall on Saturday night through Sunday morning with 3-6 inches of accumulation. Plan to ski on Sunday to enjoy the fresh powder, and with a favorable wind from the west and northwest on Sunday, we might see snow showers continue, which would keep conditions soft and also might mean more powder for Monday morning.
Following the fresh snow on Sunday-day and Monday morning, we’ll likely see a few dry days early next week, then the next storm should bring snow from later Wednesday through Friday (January 10-12), which means that there could be more fresh powder on Thursday and again on Friday morning.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
