A powerful storm system will be rolling into Idaho from the north coast of the Pacific on Friday night, Saturday and Saturday, bringing a potential for 4-8 inches of new snow to Sun Valley. Temperatures are forecast to be in the mid-20s for good-quality snow. The storm system is expected to continue dumping snow through Sunday, and then clearing skies are expected on Monday. Another storm system is expected to come late next week.

More snow storms are expected to roll through Idaho next Thursday-Saturday. The long-range forecast for Idaho continues to call for above-average precipitation and normal temperatures in the next two weeks.
