West Coast Dry Pattern...
Update
We are still waiting for any sign of storms returning/starting. There is nothing on the horizon for the next 7+ days, but we will keep an eye on the last week of the month.
There is a backdoor cold front pushing in some colder air from the East today that will drop high temperatures into the 50's into Monday. That is a little cooler than we thought a few days ago. Not as cold as Denver though where it has been snowing all morning!
As we will warm right back into the 60's as we go through the week. High pressure will sit over the West Coast for the next week keeping us dry.
As we go into the last 10 days of the month, low pressure near the Aleutian Islands is forecast to shift further East into the Gulf of Alaska. At the very least that should shift the storm track further south into the Pacific NW, which we can see on the extended precipitation forecast.
It wouldn't take much to push that a bit further south by the end of the month. So I will keep an eye on that.
Stay tuned...BA
P.S. Thank you for all of the feedback on the last post. I was only expecting a few responses, not well over 100 responses between the comments, emails, Facebook, and Twitter. It was very good feedback that I will use. I read through every comment even if I don't respond.
