High Elevation Snow Continues...
Summary
- Tuesday rain & high elevation snow showers continue. Snow levels around 7,000 feet. 1-5 inches of additional snowfall possible on the mountains above 7,000 feet by Tuesday night. Highs in the 30's on the upper mountains and 40's at lake level. Ridgetop winds gusting up to 50 mph. - We will see a quick break Wednesday with partly sunny skies and highs in the 40's. - A weak and system could bring rain & high elevation snow showers again Thursday into Thursday night. Snow levels around 7,000 feet again, falling close to lake level Thursday night. 1-3 inches of snow possible above 7,000 feet. Highs in the 30's on the upper mountains and 40's at lake level. - A stronger storm could bring some heavier rain and snow Friday into Saturday morning. Snow levels around 7,000-7,500 feet. We could see 1-12 inches of snow on the mountains above 7,000 feet. A final wave moving through Saturday night could bring some light showers with a coating of snow possible above 8,000 feet. Highs in the 30's on the upper mountains and 40's at lake level. - We could start to dry out on Sunday with the sun returning. Highs in the 40's. Several systems moving through to our north the week of the 8th could brush us with light showers, but overall expecting most of the moisture to stay to our north. Chance for a colder system the weekend of the 13th.
