Chance of Showers Saturday, Mild Sunday, Chance of Snow Monday Night...
Summary
- We could see some scattered showers on Saturday with snow levels rising above 7,000 feet. A coating to an inch of snow is possible on the upper mountains. Ridgetop winds gusting to 70+ mph in the morning and dropping to 45+ by afternoon. That should affect some of the upper mountain lift operations. Highs in the 30's on the upper mountains and 40's at lake level. - We will see a break between storms Sunday into Monday morning. Partly sunny skies Sunday with increasing clouds on Monday. We could see some light showers by Monday afternoon. Highs in the 40's on the upper mountains and 50's at lake level. Lighter winds Sunday will increase again on Monday, possible affecting upper mountain lift operations by afternoon. - The next storm moves through Monday night into Tuesday. Snow levels could start as high as 9,500 feet, and then lower to near lake level by the time the storm is winding down Tuesday afternoon. We could see 0-3 inches of snow above 7,000 feet and 1-4 inches above 8,000 feet. Highs in the 30's on the upper mountains and 40's at lake level. - We could see another break on Wednesday. Then a cold trough could settle in over the West Coast Thursday into the beginning of the week of the 15th. Several system diving into the trough could bring a chance for snow showers.
