Weak Spring Systems Bring Chances for Light Snow This Week...
Summary
- We will see a break between storms Sunday into Monday morning. Partly sunny skies Sunday with increasing clouds on Monday. We could see some light showers by Monday afternoon. Highs in the 40's on the upper mountains and 50's at lake level. Winds are still gusting to 50+ mph on the ridgetops Sunday, increasing to 60+ mph for Monday. - The next storm moves through Monday night into Tuesday. Snow levels could start as high as 9,500 feet, and then lower to near lake level Tuesday morning. We could see 1-3 inches of snow above 7,000 feet and 1-5 inches above 8,000 feet. Highs in the 30's on the upper mountains and 40's at lake level. - We could see another break on Wednesday. Then a cold system could drop down from the north on Thursday bringing some colder air and a chance for snow showers into Friday morning. We could see 1-3 inches of snow on the mountains. - We could see dry weather Friday into next weekend with highs in the 40's. Another cold system could drop down from the north next Sunday - Monday bringing the chance for more snow showers.
