Snowy Sunday, Cold & Snow Showery Through Christmas...

Summary

- Sunday the next storm pushes in during the morning (9-11 a.m.) with light-moderate snow. Colder air pushes in as well with snow levels to near or just below lake level. Snow showers linger into Sunday evening before tapering off. By Monday morning we could see totals of 2-7 inches at lake level, and 3-12 inches on the mountains. Highs in the 40s in the morning and falling through the day. Winds gusting to 75+ mph over the mountains, likely affecting some upper mountain lift operations. - Monday through Christmas Day will be cold and snow showery as weak systems drop down the coast. Very light accumulations expected of a dusting to an inch each day. Highs in the 30s at lake level and 20s on the mountains. - We may go into a drier pattern by the end of the week with high-pressure building in and storms shifting to our north. - Going into the end of the month and the first week of January, we may see a coldish and drier pattern with only a chance for very weak systems if any.
