Dry Spell...

Summary

- Cloudy Monday morning with some clearing through the day. Gusty east winds with ridge gusts to 45+ mph. - High pressure builds back in by Tuesday. We should see sunny skies and warming temps New Year's Eve with highs in the 30s and lighter winds. Then maybe some clouds from a system to the north New Year's Day. Ridgetop winds on Wednesday could gust to 65+ mph possibly affecting some upper mountain lift operations. Highs warming into the 40s at lake level. - Sunny again Thursday, and more clouds possible Friday into the weekend from systems to the north. Highs could warm into the 40s for most elevations. We could continue to see breezy ridgetops with gusts to 30+ mph through the week, maybe stronger over the weekend. - Watching for a pattern change with maybe a better chance for storms the 2nd week of January.
