Mild & Unsettled, A Storm for Sunday...

Summary

- High pressure begins to build back in by Wednesday with drier weather into Thursday. Partly to mostly cloudy skies. Highs in the 40s. Winds gusting to 40+ mph over the ridges Wednesday, lighter Thursday. - A weak system may bring rain and snow showers Thursday night. Snow levels around 7500-8000 ft. We could see a coating up to an inch or two of snow above 8000 ft. Then partly to mostly cloudy and mild for Friday with highs in the 40s. Ridgetop winds gusting to 50+ mph Friday morning dropping to 40+ mph. - Saturday evening into Sunday we could see a moderate storm bring us rain & snow, with showers possibly lingering into Sunday night. Snow levels may start around 8000 ft. before falling to near lake level Sunday morning. We could see 3-10 inches of snow on the mountains by Monday morning. - The week of the 27th we could start with a weak system and snow showers for Monday. Another weak storm is possible for Tuesday. Then we may transition to a drier pattern for the end of the month into February.
