Rain/Snow Then Drier & Mild...

Summary

- A chance for rain/snow shower early on Friday. Then mostly to partly cloudy with some sun Friday into Saturday. Highs in the 40s. - Saturday evening into Sunday morning the next storm brings us rain & snow. Snow levels may start around 8000 ft. before falling to near lake level by the end late Sunday morning. Showers could linger along the crest into the afternoon. We could see 1-6 inches of snow on the mountains above 7k by Sunday afternoon. Ridgetop winds gusting to 50+ mph early Sunday and then falling off. - Monday looks like a mostly cloudy and drier day with highs in the 30s for the upper elevations and 40s at lake level. Then Tuesday we could see a weak system brush us with a few snow showers on the mountains. - Starting Wednesday and beyond we could see high pressure build in over CA with a drier and mild pattern through the first week of February.
