Showers could linger along the crest into the afternoon. We could see 1-6 inches of snow on the mountains above 7k by Sunday afternoon. Ridgetop winds gusting to 50+ mph early Sunday and then falling off. - Monday looks like a mostly cloudy and drier day with highs in the 30s for the upper elevations and 40s at lake level. Then Tuesday we could see a weak system brush us with a few snow showers on the mountains. - Starting Wednesday and beyond we could see high pressure build in over CA with a drier and mild pattern through the first week of February.
