False Start, Try Again...

Summary

- Monday will be sunny and cool with highs in the 30 for the upper elevations and 40s at lake level. Northeast winds still gusting to 60+ mph over the ridges in the morning and coming down through the day. - Lighter winds, sunny skies, and milder temperatures throughout the rest of the week. Highs into the 40s for the upper elevations and 50s at lake level. Friday we will see increasing winds by afternoon as the next storm approaches, gusting from the southwest up to 55+ mph over the ridges. - The next system digs into the West Coast Friday night into Saturday. The forecast models still not in agreement on precip amounts, but this storm could bring a couple up to several inches of snow to the mountains. Highs dropping back into the 30s on the mountains for the weekend. - The week of the 9th a large system off the coast may slowly move inland with precipitation possible for the Sierra by Wednesday into Thursday. The pattern could remain active through mid-month.
