More Spring, Followed by Active Pattern...

Summary

- Mostly sunny skies, and milder temperatures through Friday. Highs into the 50s. Thursday into Friday we will see increasing winds gusting from the southwest up to 60+ mph over the ridges by Thursday evening through Friday. - The next system digs into CA Saturday. We could see snow showers through the day on Saturday becoming more scattered Saturday night. Snow levels below lake level. The forecast models still not in agreement on precip amounts, but this storm could bring a couple up to several inches of snow to the mountains. Highs dropping back into the 30s on the mountains for the weekend and near 40 degrees at lake level. - Clouds and a few scattered showers over the mountains remain a possibility Sunday through Tuesday as moisture from a system off the coast could move into the Sierra. - By the middle of next week, the storm off the coast moves into CA. The exact track of the low will determine where we see the heaviest precipitation amounts. The active pattern may continue through the 3rd week of March.
