4 Day Storm, Feet of Snow on the Mountains...

Summary

- Mostly sunny through Friday. Highs in the 40s on the upper mountains and 50s at lake level. Light east winds switching southwest Friday and increasing late in the day. - A cold storm moves in Saturday and lasts through the weekend. We could see snow showers by early Saturday morning with snowfall intensity increasing later in the day into Sunday. Ridgetop winds gusting to 80+ mph Saturday & 50+ mph Sunday. Highs dropping into the 20s on the upper mountains and 30s at lake level. We could see 6-12+ inches on the mountains by Sunday morning, & an additional 1-2 feet by Monday morning, and 6-24 inches for lake level. - The storm continues to bring snow showers into Tuesday, and possibly lingering into Wednesday. It stays cold but with lighter winds. We could see an additional 6-12+ inches on the mountains. - Another system could dive south into CA as early as next Thursday with additional systems into the weekend of the 21st.
