Biggest Snowfall of the Season...

Summary

- Mostly sunny Friday morning, increasing clouds in the afternoon with a chance for showers later in the day along the crest. Highs in the 40s on the upper mountains and 50s at lake level. Southwest winds increasing through the day, gusting to 60+ mph over the ridges by evening. - Scattered snow showers expected for Friday night, increasing into Saturday. Heavier snow expected Saturday night into Sunday and snow showers through Sunday night. Ridgetop winds gusting from the southwest up to 80+ mph Saturday & 60+ mph Sunday. Highs dropping into the 20s on the upper mountains and 30s at lake level. Snow levles dropping below lake level by Saturday morning. We could see 1-2 feet of snow on the mountains by Sunday morning, & an additional 1-2 feet by Monday morning. 6-24 inches for lake level. - The storm continues to bring snow showers Monday into Tuesday, and possibly a few scattered showers lingering into Wednesday. It stays cold but with lighter winds. We could see an additional 6-18 inches on the mountains & 5-12 inches at lake level. - We could see break Thursday into next Friday as the next storm drops south off the CA coast, and then could move into CA for the weekend of the 21st.
