A Mild Lull...

Summary

Mild and breezy today and Friday with highs in the 40's. Scattered rain showers will be around with snow levels of 8000-9000 feet. Friday night into Saturday more heavy precip arrives with snow levels staying near or above 8000 feet. Then on Saturday night the snow levels may fall briefly to near lake level. We could see significant snowfall above the snow line with this storm, and several inches down close to lake level if snow levels drop that low. We should have a break Sunday and Monday with colder air moving in. Then on Tuesday more precip arrives. This precip may last into Thursday. Snow levels may start below 7000 feet before rising back to between 8000-9000 feet again through the period. Wednesday night into Thursday colder air may move in as a storm pushes through. We could see snow for all elevations.
