Tahoe is Closed...

Summary

Wet and windy today with rain and snow levels above 9000 feet. Snow levels fall overnight to near lake level by Monday morning. We could see 6-12 inches on the mountains overnight. Monday into Monday night snow levels are below lake level as the snow continues. By Tuesday morning we could have an additional 8-16 inches at lake level, and 9-23 inches on the mountains. The snow continues Tuesday through Thursday as more waves move through. Over the 3 day period we could see an additional 1-3 feet of snow at lake level, and 2-4+ feet for the mountains. We may see a break for next weekend with only the chance for a weak system moving through. Then a break to start the week of the 16th. Cold storms may begin around the 19th.
