Snow for most of the next seven days

Summary

We are entering a stormy pattern and we'll likely see snow for most of the time from Wednesday through the following Monday.

Update

On Monday, a storm is tracking to the south of Colorado. We saw just a dusting on Sunday and then picked up about 3 inches on Sunday night. During the day, we'll see a mix of clouds, sunshine, and snowflakes, and the high temperature will be in the single digits.

Tuesday will be the final calm day before we enter the next storm cycle. We could see a mix of dry weather and maybe a few snowflakes later in the day or at night. The high temperature will be in the teens.

Wednesday will offer 2-4 inches of snow from Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures will be around 10°F.

Thursday will likely bring another 4-8 inches of snow with the flakes falling on Wednesday night through Thursday afternoon. Temperatures will be in the single digits.

Friday should be a calmer day, though we will likely see at least some snowflakes with perhaps a few inches of accumulation. Temperatures will be in the single digits.

Friday night through Monday night will bring more snow with 10-20 inches (or more) of accumulation. The best conditions should be later in this period, on Sunday and Monday. Temperatures will be a little warmer with highs in the teens. Be mindful that the new snow will create challenging driving conditions.

Next week from Tuesday, January 16 to Friday, January 19 should be calmer and drier, but we'll figure out the details of this forecast later. For now, we'll focus on the upcoming one-week storm cycle!
