Soft leftovers on Monday

Summary

The storm total from Saturday night to Sunday was 8 inches, and we'll see more snow during the coming week.

Update

Sunday

Sunday morning offered 3-4 inches of powder and another 3-4 inches accumulated during the day on Sunday.

Monday

From Sunday afternoon to Sunday night, snow showers hung around the mountain, though we did not see any measurable accumulation from these showers.

On Monday, we may see snow showers linger during the first half of the day, and then the snow should wane during the second half of the day as the storm slowly tracks north and east of Colorado. The high temperature will be in the 20s.

Tuesday & Wednesday

On Tuesday and Wednesday, unorganized storm energy will cross Colorado from west to east, generating additional snow. I have low confidence in this part of the forecast, and I'll estimate a range of a dusting to 3 inches of snow on Tuesday and Wednesday. The high temperature will be in the 20's.

Thursday & Friday

On Thursday and Friday, a more organized storm will arrive, and its track south of Colorado could deliver 5-9+ inches. The high temperature on both days will be in the 20s.

Saturday & Sunday (March 9-10)

I think Saturday and Sunday will be dry with high temperatures close to 30°F.

Next Week (March 11-15)

The first part of next week should be on the drier side, and then a storm may cross Colorado sometime between Wednesday, March 13, and Friday, March 15. I continue to have low confidence in the forecast for this storm, and it'll likely take at least another few days for the forecast to become clearer.

My next update will be Tuesday morning.
