Looking ahead to a storm on Thursday and Friday

Summary

We'll see partly sunny and dry weather on Tuesday and Wednesday, with snowflakes returning on Thursday and Friday.

Update

Tuesday & Wednesday

On Tuesday and Wednesday, unorganized storm energy will cross Colorado from west to east, generating additional snow, though I think most of this snow will stay just north of Telluride.

Aside from the chance for a few snow showers, most of the time will be dry and partly sunny. The high temperature will be in the 20's.

Thursday & Friday

On Thursday and Friday, a more organized storm will arrive, and its track south of Colorado could deliver 4-10 inches of snow. The best chances of steadier snow will be Thursday to Thursday night and again on Friday afternoon through Friday night. The high temperature on both Thursday and Friday will be in the 20s.

Saturday & Sunday (March 9-10)

I think Saturday and Sunday will be dry with high temperatures close to 30°F.

Next Week (March 11-15)

On Monday and Tuesday (March 11-12), we may see times of snow showers. From Wednesday, March 13, and Friday, March 15, a storm should cross Colorado with a chance for steadier and deeper snow. I continue to have low confidence in the forecast for this week, and it'll likely take at least another few days for the forecast to become clearer.

My next update will be Wednesday morning.
