Sunday Snow Total

The storm delivered 2 inches on Saturday (in line with the forecast) and 7 inches on Saturday night (more than the forecast).

The mid-mountain snow stake shows 6 inches of accumulation, but a nearby (and trustworthy) automated sensor shows about 9 inches.

The storm tracked a bit farther to the west compared to the earlier forecast, and this allowed the northwest flow around the storm to bring more snow to Telluride. Yippee!

Sunday

Sunday morning's conditions will be fun with the fluffy new snow from Saturday night and a chilly temperature in the teens.

Sunday Night & Monday

On Sunday night and Monday, there should be a break in the snow and a temperature in the teens.

Monday Night to Tuesday Night

From Monday night through Tuesday night, the next storm should deliver snow with 1-5 inches of accumulation over Colorado's southern mountain and possible low-end powder on Tuesday.

Next Storm

The next storm could bring snow during the weekend of January 11-12, though, this storm will likely brush by Colorado, so snow accumulations could be on the lower end.

Longer Range

Colorado will likely be on the edge of the storm track through about January 16, and then starting on or after January 17, a stormier weather pattern may bring more snow.
