Washington (BC), Squaw Valley (CA), Grand Targhee (WY), and Taos (NM). The next several days will remain active with a series of storms impacting the Pacific Northwest and the Rockies.
Short Term Forecast
Recent snow totals in the West
A series of storms late last week and over the weekend resulted in healthy snow totals throughout the West from British Columbia to New Mexico. Check out the 5-day snow totals ending on Sunday morning, showing that nearly all major ski regions west of the Continental Divide received new snow.

A storm will impact Colorado and New Mexico on Monday with moderate snow totals. Farther north, another storm will bring moderate to heavy snow across the Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies on Monday and into Tuesday. The next in a succesion of storms will also make landfall in Southeast Alaska and Northwest BC on Tuesday.

Snow from the previous storm will pick up across the Four Corners region on Wednesday with the heaviest snow expected across New Mexico and Southern Colorado. Farther north, moderate to heavy snow will fall across British Columbia and the Washington Cascades on Wednesday, before spreading into the Northern U.S. Rockies and the Canadian Rockies on Wednesday night and Thursday.
Forecast for Fri, Mar 26 – Sat, Mar 27

The rest of this period looks quiet for most of the West, aside from Southeast Alaska who will pick up more snow on Saturday. A storm will impact the Northeast on Friday and Saturday but it will be a rain event for most areas, except for some ski areas in Quebec that will likely see snow.
Extended Forecast
Outlook for Sun, Mar 28 – Thu, Apr 1
March will end on a relatively quiet note across the West. British Columbia and areas along/east of the Continental Divide in the Rockies may see a quick shot of snow sometime during this period, but many areas will see a drying trend. The East could see a storm or two during this period with rain and/or snow possible.
