Forecast for Wed 2/9  – Thu 2/10:

Another storm will move across the Upper Midwest on Wednesday and the Northeast on Thursday with generally light to moderate snow expected.

Across the West, a storm will impact Alaska with heavy snow while unseasonably warm air will result in high elevation snow and low to mid-elevation rain for ski regions in Northern BC. Areas near and east of the Continental Divide in the Rockies will also see some light snow on Wednesday.

Forecast for Fri 2/11 – Sat 2/12:

A stronger storm will bring moderate snow to much of the Great Lakes region on Friday before weakening as it moves into the Northeast on Saturday with light snow for New England and perhaps some light rain for lower elevation areas.

Across the West, a storm will bring snow to areas along and east of the Continental DIvide from Alberta to New Mexico on Friday and Friday night. Storms will continue to slam Alaska with heavy snow as well.

Forecast for Sun 2/13 – Mon 2/14:

A couple of storms are likely to impact the Upper Midwest and East during this period with a good chance of snow for many areas, though confidence in timing and storm tracks are low at this time. Out West, a storm will drop in from the northwest with snow developing across Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest.

Extended Forecast

Outlook for Tue 2/15 – Sat 2/19:

The East will continue to be favored during this period with additional storms likely. The pattern will also turn a bit more active out west with a storm diving into the Four Corners region on Tuesday with snow possible for parts of Colorado & New Mexico depending on the exact storm track. The Northern Rockies and British Columbia Interior could also see a storm or two during this period.

Thanks so much for reading! Next update on Friday (2/11).
