Vail Daily Snow

Update
Friday
For most of the week, we have only seen light snow or flurries because the southern storm track is not favorable for Vail, and this will continue through Friday.
The upshot is that as the storm moves to the east of Colorado on Friday and Friday night, we do have a better chance of seeing a few bands of intense snow along with a period of steadier snow possible later on Friday into the evening as the wind shifts to a more favorable west and west-northwest direction.
For snow accumulations, 1-4 inches is the most likely outcome, though if we do happen to see a narrow band of intense snow, amounts could be much greater.
Saturday to Wednesday
We should see dry and partly sunny weather as storms stay well to the north of Colorado. Temperatures will rise a few degrees each day with highs in the teens on Saturday and making it into the 30s by Wednesday.
Thursday & Friday
Late next week, we might see light snow as some of the energy to our north drops south into Colorado.
Longer Range
My confidence is increasing that the next significant storm will arrive around Sunday, March 3, with an additional one or two storms during the week of March 3-10.
